There’s no second thought about the fact that all anyone seemed to be able to talk about yesterday was Union minister Amit Shah’s meeting with NTR. While this was a highly proud moment for TFI, it was quite the controversial and intriguing one for AP and Telangana politics, especially for AP politics, as NTR was once associated with the Telugu Desam Party, even though he’s not been a part of it for the last few years. Given that the TDP is the main rival of the ruling YSRCP, the party definitely did have its own theories.
One such theory has been spilled by the YSRCP’s most controversial minister, Kodali Nani, who said that the main reason for Amit Shah’s meeting with NTR is because the BJP wants NTR to campaign on their behalf. Nani said that there’s no way a union minister would fly in to congratulate an actor for their acting skills – the media was told that Amit Shah was highly impressed by NTR’s acting in RRR – and that the minister was definitely here for political purposes.
Given that there’s been no official information regarding why Amit Shah met with NTR, apart from the minister wanting to congratulate NTR, there’s no saying for certain whether it was a general meet or a political one. Nonetheless, Nani certainly has his own tale and theory about the matter.
