Team India captain Rohit Sharma has made the nation proud by winning the T20 world cup last night and setting the moods of 1.4 Billion people at an all time high.
This triumphant win in the World Cup is now big celebrated by India as a whole and there is a whole lot of praise coming in for the men in blue.
However, in a major bummer in the context of this historic World Cup win, both Rohit and Virat have announced their retirement from the T20 format of the game.
First, it was Virat to announce that he is quitting the format and wouldn’t be seen in the Indian T20 side from now on. Then, Rohit followed the same suit and he too announced his retirement from the format.
This brings curtain on the historic era that saw two of the greatest white ball players of all time, Virat and Rohit.
