Kalki happens to be one of the costliest projects in the history of Indian cinema and the stakes are particularly high on this one as there is a lot of financial burden riding on the same.

In this context, we are hearing that the government of Andhra Pradesh is ready to hike the ticket prices for the film, based on the requests raised by the makers.

The chances are that the AP Government is likely to permit ticket prices in the range of Rs 350+ for the Prabhas starrer. The film will be given additional permission on ticket price hikes, given the massive budgeting involved.

Earlier, the YCP government was particularly aggressive on enforcing minimal ticket prices for big event films which made it harder for the makers of big event films to recover the massive costs involved. But the new government is likely to be more lenient on this front.
